Your agreement deserves professional review.
It’s worth having a professional review the agreement you’ll rely on. With SplitPlus, a family lawyer reviews your agreement before filing, and we handle the filing for you.
Our 100% digital process automates information gathering and preliminary drafting. We focus lawyer expertise where it matters most and pass the savings on to you. Expert support, with a clear, fixed fee.
Comparison checked 20 September 2026 against Amica’s pricing and service guidance. Totals use the federal court fee, unless exempt. Other professional, lender, valuation, transfer or super fund charges may apply. The court decides whether to approve the proposed orders with either service.
A person behind the process
Ask about the service before you commit.
If you broadly agree and the service fits, you can request a free 15-minute introductory call with a family lawyer. Understand the support, fee and next steps before deciding.
You can also proceed to payment when you’re ready. A call is optional.
You do not need a fresh estimate to use Split Ways. Bring your agreed terms and check whether our consent-order service can help you formalise them.
If you started with Amica, keep your documents and any message explaining where you stopped. We’ll need the information for our own process; there is no automatic transfer between services.
Verify your email, then answer questions about your agreement and circumstances.

Before you choose
How does Split Ways keep professional support affordable?
Our 100% digital process automates information gathering and preliminary drafting. We focus lawyer expertise where it matters most and pass the savings on to you. SplitPlus brings document preparation, family lawyer review and filing together for one clear, fixed service fee. Court fees and other applicable professional or transaction charges are separate.
Can we use Split Ways if we already agree on the split?
Yes. Start with the terms you have broadly agreed. You can go straight to the suitability questions without completing a new calculator or estimate. All terms need to be resolved before applying for consent orders.
Can I speak with someone before paying?
If the service fits, you can request a free 15-minute introductory call with a family lawyer about the service, fees and next steps. It is separate from individual legal advice and SplitPro’s included 60-minute consultation. You can also pay when ready without a compulsory call.
What if Amica could not help with our application?
Check whether the issue was platform suitability, an unfinished application or a court request. We assess suitability separately, so bring the exact message and your agreed terms. If a court has issued directions or a deadline, get individual legal advice before starting again. Changing providers does not remove the underlying issue.
Does lawyer review mean independent advice for both of us?
No. Do not assume document review independently advises both people about whether to accept the settlement. Confirm who the lawyer acts for and the scope of the engagement. Each person can seek their own independent advice.
What if we want a different level of support?
SplitBase is A$1,199 including GST for document preparation without lawyer review; you handle filing and its costs. SplitPro is A$2,399 including GST, plus the A$215 court fee, and includes lawyer review, filing and a 60-minute consultation. Compare the full inclusions for your circumstances.
Does Amica support unequal splits or superannuation?
Amica says users can negotiate a different split from its suggestion and supports some superannuation splitting. The distinction in this comparison is the lawyer review and filing included in SplitPlus, rather than a claim that every unequal split needs a different service.
If there is pressure, family violence, a disclosure dispute or an existing court direction, seek appropriate individual help first. Read when to get independent advice. This comparison is general information, not legal advice.
How we compared the services
Prepared by Split Ways. Sources checked on 20 September 2026. We compared Amica’s property consent-order application with SplitPlus. Other packages have different inclusions. This is not a claim of independent legal review of this page.
